Oh spring. I know autumn gets a lot of hype, rightfully so Mother Nature’s firework display is quite amazing. However for me, autumn seems like it lands on a weekend. Meaning it is two days and done. It is also reminder for me winter is coming (two posts in a row about Game of Thrones…which I do not watch). Spring is my favorite time of year. Maybe because my birthday is in the spring (April 3rd if you want to jot it down for reference. I like chocolate and wear a size “beach vacation”).
We did Kate’s session the beginning of June. The green that time of year is amazing. Many wild flowers are in bloom. The light is wonderful. So those who hang on until August to do your senior session, you should give June a thought. Also it isn’t as crazy hot like July and August are, which for me wins HANDS DOWN!
Kate had such a fun personality and natural ease in front of the camera. Which translates to warm, casual and completely her in the photos.

I have so many favorites from Kate’s session, but these are one of them. The hint of color in the flowers with the color of her top works so well.
Doesn’t she look like a dead ringer for Jessica Biel?
