I see spring….it is very small in the distance of course | Parkers Prairie, MN senior photographer

Ah. Pouring through Megan’s senior session from last September makes me so excited for summer. Every year I preach to people that it is still February (hello March tomorrow) in Minnesota that it will still snow, it will still freeze your boogers when you go outside because that is what Minnesota does until May (sometimes April but for sure May). We know this, don’t complain, right? However is anyone like me and since we have had crazy cold temps this winter begging for an early spring? Yeah, I thought so.

So, whenever you book your senior session I will most likely ask you what school you go to. Partly because I am curious, and I also need to know for yearbook deadlines. Each school has different deadlines and some are ridiculously early. So when Megan and her momma contacted me and said they were from Parkers Prairie….I did a double take. Not that it isn’t odd for me to get seniors from all over, even other states but I can say I have never had one from PP, which is weird because Parkers isn’t that far from Alex. What I had discovered years ago when I would attempt marketing in that area, I was told the school used their own selected photographer. So I moved on. But apparently something changed because I had like 4-5 Parkers seniors this year! So YES, I was happy! Because nothing makes me happier than seniors knowing what they like and go to find the perfect fit for their senior photos.

Here is some of my favs from Megan’s senior session. Which like a said Megan’s session was in September. One of my favorite months to shoot. Because the light is gorgeous, temps are cooler and I don’t sweat to death (a benefit for me AND you), and you get the best of two seasons. You can see in her session it looks warm and summery, but then there is some hint of fall in some of the leaves and grasses. Two seasons for one.

Enough chatting from me.

I mean this blue on her….she should wear it every day.
